RECIPE OF D' DAY

HOMEMADE MUSHROOM SOUP.......


NO OF PAX : 8 PERSON
PREPARATION TIME: 10 MINUITE
150gm chopped shitake mushroom
1 can chopped button mushroom
150gm dice chicken
250ml heavy cream (dairy whipping cream)
pinch salt & pepper
pinch chopped garlic
750ml water
250gm mashed potato

METHOD
1. Saute garlic in stockpot until golden brown,
2. Then put in dice chicken and mushroom, and add water, bring to boiled
3. Thicken the soup with mashed potato and keep it boiled
4. Pour in heavy cream and let it simmer
5. Season with salt & pepper to taste.

GARLIC SPREAD
1. Cut french baggute 45degrees about 2cm thick
2. Spread on garlic spread evenly
3. Baked in the oven approx 2 minuite at 200 celcius
4. SERVE................ enjoy d yummylicious soup!!!!

UiTM Di Hatiku.......

10% kemasukan pelajar non bumi ke uitm..... banyak sungguh polemik yg melanda.... ada yg sungguh emosi mengaitkan nyer dgn sentimen politik... apa kata kita tinggalkan politik ke tepi n renungkan luahan hati sorang yg bergelar bekas penuntut UiTM Shah Alam. sudah hampir 5 tahun UiTM ku tinggalkan segala pendidikan, pengalaman bergelar penuntut universiti bumiputra yg terulung masih kekal dalam ingatan. sedih dgn segala tomahan, kritikan dan cacian yg di lemparkan kepada kami semua yg pernah bergelar penuntut UiTM namun bangga dgn MPP dan Naib Canselor yg bangkit mempertahankan universiti kesayangan kami..... benarkah kami tidak berdaya saing, mundur dan bersikap perkauman???? yg pasti mereka yg membuat tuduhan tersebut bukanlah pelajar UiTM hanya melihat dari sudut luaran trus membuat kesimpulan.

aku merupakan pelajar Fakulti Perhotelan & Perlancongan. Fakulti ini telah wujud sejak tahun 70an lagi.....masih lagi terngiang-ngiang lagi kata2 sesetengah pihak yg mengaitkan jurusan ini sebagai kelas kedua dan not a profesional course... masa telah membuktikan segala nya... kini jurusan ini adalah antara yg menjadi rebutan gara-gara peluang pekerjaan yg membawa mereka ke seantero dunia dgn gaji yg lumayan. dulu sewaktu aku mula memohan utk memasuki jurusan ini selain UiTM, hanya ada 2 lagi kolej swasta yg menawarkan jurusan perhotelan itu pun dgn yuran tahunan yg mencecah ratusan ribu ringgit..... kini jurusan perhotelan ada di setiap kolej swasta berikutan permintaan yg tinggi dan satu yg amat membanggakan rata-rata pensyarah di kolej berkenaan adalah bekas penuntut UiTM. cuba anda bayangkan jasa UiTM dalam melahirkan bumiputra berkaliber memenuhi prospek kerjaya masakini...... dan bayangkan apabila kuota 10% itu diberikan kepada bukan bumi...... bagaimana mahu mengangkat dan memartabatkan ekonomi orang melayu... untuk apa menafikan hak kita sebagai bumiputra......


UiTM membawa kami ke mata dunia.....melalui UiTM kami para penuntut berpeluang menyertai segala pertandingan, pameran, seminar di peringkat antarbangsa. Kami bangga mewakili UiTM dan Malaysia seterusnya memastikan setiap pertandingan yg disertai ....dimenangi. Bagi penuntut jurusan perhotelan antara pertandingan yg disertai adalah Johan Kemahiran Malaysia, Malaysian Culinaire, Penang Culinaire dan pemenang pertandingan ini akan mewakili negara ke Junior World Skills Competition dan ASEAN Skills Competition.... mungkin anda bukan penuntut UiTM namun mungkin suatu hari anda akan merasa bangga apabila anak,cucu, cicit atau keturunan anda mejadi sebahagian daripada kami dan sekaligus mengharumkan nama Malaysia melalui UiTM... jangan memyempitkan peluang darah daging anda untuk bergelar mahasiswa.....


Akhir kata fikir-fikirkan lah jangan mengadai masa depan bangsa demi kepentingan orang lain..........

NEW UPDATES

a gazilion times of sorry for the lack updates.... bcoz of the buzy factor...hehehhhhe so guys i'm back to the blogger's world. Just celebrete my 29th birthday last monday... hepi birthday 2 me........anyway thanks alots 2 my beloved hubby for a wonderful suprised birthday celebration n great birthday gift... a gift that's i dreamt of.....u really fulfilled my desire.....syok nye....tq gaks kat my kids yg non stop singing hepi birthday kat telinga i..... to my staff thanks for the wishes...n for those yg involved dlm conspiracy merancang segala gala nyer... congrats you guys done a great job... (hehhe i tahu siapa master mind nyer)


a bit info of Yok Mampir Cafe.... biznis quite slow but still fined. even though customer yg masok ramai but average check each customer around RM 7, dulu sblm segala harga minyak or bahan makanan increase the average check may hit RM 10 to 15 per person..... so quite a low margin... a few customer yg concern suggest us to increase our food pricing.... mana ada cafe or restaurant yg jual chicken chop as cheap as us (RM 7.50 per portion) our close competitor pon dah jual rm 9++ but i think by increase our pricing is not a good solution at the moment..... walaupun untung sikit tapi kepuasan di wajah customer penyejuk hati n cukup meggembirakan... if they satisfied i believed they will come again n again n again..... lagipun ada ura-ura mengatakan harga minyak akan turun on 1st sept so i hope biznis will doing well as before insyallah!!!!!


last month was a disaster month for us. we short of staff... one of my pioneer staff, our supervisor accident..... muka n kulit tangan kanan tersiat... quite a serious injury....so mc lah for 3 weeks.... yg 2 lagi staff sorang behenti keje n sorang diberhentikan. i don't to elebrote more on that but i belived any management will facing the same problem .... staffing. agak susah gaks nak run a biznis dgn staff yg tak cukup but we manage to do that. During weekends we hired our cousin, friends n my bil to worked as a part timer. habis berangkut semua to make sure our operation runs smoothly. 2 eman, apit, cik mat,afiq ipoh, idan n aie time kaceh la suma yg membantu.... lain kali bole panggil lagi. any way ada job vacancies utk post steward n cleaner so for those yg intersted nak buat part time after office hour u can contact us 0126190488 .

POSTPONED

hahahha tricky tak title ..... ape benda yg kena postponed. mcm2 yg plan yg kena postponed..... first u all mesti dah baca dlm last post our plan with all my staff to hang around, watching movies n lunch together dah kena postponed. since that particular plan x jadi so we decided to cancel n replace with new plan. pergi picnic n having barbeque's. wow sound exciting..... bebudak tuh lagi la excited siap mintak permission nak bawak gf masing masing. alamak nih dah lebih nie.... so my hubby remind them this event strictly only for yok mampir staff only no outsider are allowed to joined our private party.... hehehehhhe . venue haven't decide yet but i prefer port dickson but a bit far for the boys.... maybe we'll go to sg. congkak or the nearest jeram ker bagan lalang or morib.....hemmm tgok lah mcmmana... we all akan pergi masa cuti sekolah nih....mesti best kannnnnn!!!!!


next plan yg kena postponed ialah my son's birthday celebration..... last year we celebrate his birthday twice... first celebrate ngan my staff @yok mampir. i cooked pasta, grilled chicken, snacks n we bought his birthday cake at Baker's Cottage. we all buat kenduri doa selamat. second time we celebrate with my husband family @ secret recipe alamanda...... makan besar...... BUT this year blom sempat nak celebrate kat mana2 lg..... so we decided to combined the his birthday celebration with my daughter birthday . her birthday on 3rd June so may be both celebration will be organized in June. so sorry adam for the delayed....

Adam nih ball freak so ape saje yg berkaitan dgn ball suma dia suke.... atuk really influenced adam watching espn channel so now espn n any sports channel become his favorite beside astro ceria. he really enjoy watching bowling, golf tournament, soccer, lawn ball n rugby...... tp paling dia suke tgok MU punya games...... so tgok la anak siapa..... hahhahaa. i rasa kalo kumpul suma ball yg ada kat umah ada lebih kurang 50 ++++ kot... dari yg murah plastic type, sinetatic pvc n rubber sampai yg mahal n original leather adidas mini ball, nike foot ball suma dia dah ada. cuma i blom belikan lagi football buts. teringin gaks cuma size kecik jer x de... cam nak jadik atlit jer adam nih... tapi atok encourage dia jadik tennis player, training betol2 sampai jadik world class tennis player cam rodger fedrer, pete samprass, rafeal nadal, andre agassi, (betoi ke eja nih)... insya allah........

HAPPY LABOR DAY

HAPPY BELATED LABOR DAY ..... hahahhaha. labor day pon ada belated ker ????? actually i wanted update our blog during the public holiday unfortunately bz giler so tak sempat laaaa. I would like to wish all our staff @ yok mampir cafe happy labor day... may u guys be more productive employee.... fitri, badrul, amy, wan, ajmal, din, kak sue n sri thank you very much for your commitment. we really appreciate it. to our ex staff thank you for continuous support. actually for this specially day we had planned to bring all our staff to the movies n lunch together at independent restaurant to give them some exposure on how's the service n type of food served there. so that they might implement the system,method or skills to improve our restaurant. unfortunately the planned had to be canceled due to the reservation of 50 pax made by sek. men. agama tengku ampuan jemaah. so we ourselves had to organized to function that was held in yok mampir cafe...... hahaahhaha sorry guys tak de rezeki perhaps we may organized another trip for all us. melepas nak tgok cite the forbidden kingdoms..... frustnyer.... tapi rezeki lebih besar yg masok.... alhamdulilah!!!!! the function organized by ustazah norliza. they ordered sizzling chicken yee mee 15 pax, claypot seafood yee mee 15 pax, chicken rice 20 pax, wedges fruit juice, cold drinks n western food for the v.i.p. well the function runs smoothly n the organizer really satisfied with the fast service... once again thank you to all my staff... you guys done a great job. a bit promo to all the viewers if u decided to organize a function n looking for a great venue why not you come here n we will entertain you with our wide range of menu, great n fast service, reasonable price n we 'll not disappointed you. we can cater for birthday party, special event, etc... if you interested you can reach us at this no 0126190488 or email us chefezham@yahoo.com. please call or email us one week before your function.do not hesitate to call us ok...seee yaa
