EARTH HOUR @ YOK MAMPIR CAFE....

Earth Hour @ Yok Mampir Cafe was a big success... i thought we did a right move by participated in this world campaign..... This was seen by the unexpectedly overwhelming response from our customer ..... most of our regulars turns out @ our cafe n joined the romantic candle light dinner...... We never expected such a good response n we really proud of it..... thank you to all my customer for your continuous support n insya allah we'll do our best to serve u better coz your satisfaction is our priority.......

huaaaarghhhhhh part 2

as what i promise months ago....... those 3 pic cake yg we all buat for YMC customer/friend yg nama dier same ngan aku......




yg atas sekali tu cake for majlis potong cake belah pompuan yg bertempat kat my previous hometown kelana jaya....



D' second one tu cake hantaran dari belah pompuan ker belah lelaki.... base cake dier chocolate moist cake and toping with minth flovoured fondant.... cantik tak?????



D' third one to cake hantaran dari belah lelaki ker belah pompuan.... base cake samer but toping with coffee flavoured fondant.....



semua bunga n topping to edible but takde org makan bunga tu larh kan..... amcam NAK ORDER ? BERANI?????? HAHAHAHAHA









pas bz buat cake we all buat pulak main table for d bridegroom nyer side nie ader satu pic gubahan buah on top of the main table........ buahnyer customizedd carve the name of bride and bridegroom.... "eeeeeeeee specialnyer" kata tetamu yg hadir ( dlm hati kata " mamat nie poyo betul lar" tapi tu semua bukan salah pengantin pasal tukang ukir ( chef ezham )nyer idea takde kena mengena ngan pengantin.... heheh



then nak cerita pasal raya haji.......

macam biasa raya haji... sembahyang korban , YMC cuti, rehat dll...... the real story is YMC neighbour Nazifa tomyam cuti for 10 day..... business was so good.... buleh buat and simpan duit sikit..... but punya lah penat... kalau biasa buat frying item to 10 - 15 plate, maser budak sebelah cuti buleh cecah kat 40 plate/ nite... mcm nak tercabut tgn nie, raser macam bengkak jer tgn sebelah nie macam "mr papaya" haha anyway bukan nak tolak rezeki cuma tak larat jer ....

1 YMC staff quit nak study kater dier, replace by 2 new staff.... for time being ok, kerja bagus, flow kedai kelam kabut sikit, pasal yg otai ader sorang jer kat depan, 1 lagi kena transfer dept, masuk kitchen helping western chef, bagi cepat sikit flow... insyaallah after few day we' r bake on trake... food flow akan cantik and sservice will be improve...

one more thing, kat YMC tengah buat another kemudahan fiskal.. YMC buat surau and tandas utk wanita untuk kemudahan muslimah gie toilet and solat, tak yah berebut ngan boys/ mens lagi lepas nie... fully sponcered by my bos ( abah )... nie pun kitorang tengah kumpul duit nak buat renovation utk buat baverage counter yg baru and kalau ader rezeki lebih nak renovate kedai and pasang tiles..... any financial source???? ( tengah berusaha nie..... )

huarggghhhhhhhhhh......


dekat tiga bulan tak menulis.....hahahah.....bukan takde maser tapi malas giler.... bulan posa dah lepas ... raya pun dah habis.... cuti skolah pun dah start, memacam jadi kat YOK MAMPIR CAFE..... maser bulan posa YOK MAMPIR CAFE tambah menu baru lagik to support sale yang tak baper nak kuat... we add on MALAYSIAN WOK ie kue tiow kerang, nasi goreng ayam, mee goreng mamak.. yg dimasak khas oleh chef jemputan iaitu mamak ( ikut pangilan bebeudak YMC staff) atau nama lain nyer aku sendiri ( chef ezham ) dah boring dekat dekat 8 bulan duduk jadi cashier, sajer jer larh buat kerja sampingan tu...

macam nie lah keadaan YOK MAMPIR CAFE maser bulan

puasa. alhamdulliah penuh, nak bukak posa kena rezeb since 6.00 pm

( minggu last puasa la)

YOK MAMPIR beroperasi sampai lagi 3 hari nak raya. customer alhamdullilah ramai sampai kekadang kena marah pasal tak dapat nak bagi the best servis. any way food semua sampai ikut order but ader satu dua yg kantoi lar kan , tak de saper yg perfect.. abis bulan posa dua staff YMC staff pun last day gak, dapat kerja baru kat nestle, better pay i guest.

then after 9 day cuti raya sakan YMC bukak balik dengan harapan nak cover duit yg dah habis during raya... heehe.. then after one and half week operating sekor lagik budak YMC staff quit.. nie pasal masalah peribadi.. my most senior staff yg berenti,... takpelah bebudak lain pun sama jer buleh buat kerja tak lebih tak kurang.. then last Saturday of Ramadhan YOK MAMPIR CAFE buat open shop utk customer and friend. alhamdullilah about 90% turn up.. how happy we are. bukan aper kitorang nyer niat nak pulang balik kat customer and friend yg suuport YOK MAMPIR sepanjang tahun niee....

After buat open shop tu kedai bertambah rezeki and customer sentiasa penuh except few day in a month. menu yg pada perancangan awal utk bulan posa jer diteruskan. sambutan baik kat MALAYSIAN WOK buleh larh tambah 10 - 15 plate per night... and then YOK MAMPIR CAFE tambah pulak otak2. buleh jual 100 - 150ps per night. pasal strategi jual otak2 nie macam paksa larh jugak. letak jer atas meja then klau customer amik charge...ahah tapi bukuan paksa makan cuma paksa teringin and kalau teringin kena makan and kalau makan kena bayar la....

hari hati yg mendatang tak tau lagik.. nie malam nie nie nak kena buat 3 wedding cake for customer cum friend of YOK MAMPIR CAFE. so target buleh siap sebelum pagi besok cos nak deliver cake tu during noon. nanti dah siap i'll post the pictures to this blog.. anyway dah tak tau aper nak tulis bubye......

YOK MAMPIR CAFE( 5 YEARS AGO)

alhamdulillah,...... YOK MAMPIR CAFE akan berumur lima tahun september nie..... dari sebuah gerai westernfood yg menumpang kat kedai tomyam, yg menggunakan kemah 10 x 10. kini kami sudah pun beroperasi hampir genap 5 tahun termasuk cuti umum, cuti raya, cuti mingguan, cuti sakit, cuti bersalin, dan cuti buat buat cuti.................. dari hanye dengan 5 menu utama termasuk chicken chop, black pepper steak, fish and chip, burger dan fries kami bangkit memperjuangkan YOK MAMPIR CAFE yg pada mulanyer namanyer dibangkang oleh sesetengah pihak. berkat kedegilan diri ini dan sedikit over confident kami meneruskan cita cita untuk memamajukan cafe kami. kini setelah hampir 5 tahun berkerja keras ( kekadang putus harapan gaks ) nama cafe kami sudah mula miniti di bibir masyarakat setempat dan yg sewaktu dengannye, kini juga kami sudah beroperasi dengan lebih dari 100 jenis menu makanan dan minuman serta mempunyai tenaga kerja 12 orang termasuk kami berdua..... alhamdullilah.... tapi kalau nak diikutkan kami masih belum puas..... kami masih mempunyai beberapa rancangan yg diatur untuk cafe kami ini dan insyaallah kami akan laksanakan dalam tahun hadapan demi memberi keselesaan pada customer dan juga pada para tenaga kerja kami... diharap cafe kami ini dapat menjadi lebih maju dan bertahan sampai bila bila hendaknyer. bermula dengan menumpang kat kedai tomyam, kini kami juga sudah mempunyai bilangan kapasiti sebanyak 120++/ sitting alhamdullilah dan kami berharap customer YOK MAMPIR CAFE akan terus mendoakan kemajuan kami, kami cuba sedaya upaya untuk memastikan pelanggan kami sentiasa berpuas hati setiap kali melangkah keluar dari cafe kami ini.....alhamdulillah dan sekian

RECIPE OF D' DAY as at 29/08/08

BUTTER PRAWN
n0 of pax : 6 person
preparation time: 10 minuite



INGREDIENTS
1kg udang galah
125g butter
20g chopped garlic
50g rempah kari
10g slice daun kari
pinch salt and pepper

METHOD
1. Melt butter, and saute garlic until golden brown
2. Then add in rempah kari, daun kari and let it cook for 1 minuite
3. After you can smell te aroma add in the udang galah.
4. Saute for about 5 minuite and make sure the prawn is cook.
5. Season with salt and pepper to taste
6. SERVE and enjoy the yummylicious BUTTER PRAWN.

tips: all seafood ( prawn, squid, crab, etc )need to be cook well done to achieve the great taste.
